Stayed here for the weekend. Rooms were spacious and clean, with comfy beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the location with great views of the harbor and bay. Enjoyed the breakfast options, especially the variety of fruits and eggs. A relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The decor felt a bit tired and the room was a little chilly. Kitchenette could have been better equipped.

The hosts were exceptional and made suggestions about where to go en route to our daily activities without being pushy. This made a very positive difference to our holiday. They went out of their way to book a restaurant reservation for us to somewhere we would have never got into on our own accord! Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and whatever you wanted. Great location for visiting central Cape Town, Kirstenbosch, Boulders Beach, World of Birds etc.
It was all good!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, right next to the harbour and within walking distance to some amazing seafood restaurants on the waterfront, which I visited twice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent and the room was spotless and spacious. Cleanliness, hotel facilities, location next to harbour, walk to seafood restaurants, breakfast.
Nothing bad to say.

Really helpful, friendly hosts. Good quality bed, linen and towels. A great price for this level of comfort. Location was fantastic - right next to the marina. You could either sit up in bed or take a shower and see the waves breaking on the opposite shore from both spots.

The location on the waterfront was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views from our room balcony. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with the owner being extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. The room itself was spacious and spotless, equipped with all the amenities we could ask for. Furthermore, the hotel's close proximity to excellent fish restaurants made dining a breeze.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The location of the lodge is great, with a long sandy beach just a short walk away. there is an excellent fish restaurant nearby where you can enjoy delicious seafood. the lodge is also conveniently situated next to a charming harbor, providing a picturesque view.
There is no air conditioning in the room, which can be uncomfortable during hot weather.

Situated opposite the Houtbay Harbour, walking distance. Well situated to travel either to the vinyard farms and to the Nature reserve at Cape point travelling on the mountain passes with an excellent view
The bed was very uncomfortable and this lodge is not smokers friendly at all. No designated smoking area inside the building but also not outside the lodge we had to stand outside no garden table and chair facilities which left us disappointed at chosing this lodge at all. It was not at all what we thought when we made our booking judging from the pics on the website. The room was very small and the bathroom facilities densed and very small. No swimming pool for our use and the car was parked outside in the parking area which was not fenced at all and no gate, which had we realised we would definately not have made the booking. We won't be returning to this Lodge in future.
